The nose reveals notes of caramelization, vanilla and small notes of blueberry, fleshy cassis associated with small touches of fleshy strawberry as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper, fleshy red cherry, a very discreet hint of violet and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, precise and offers a good definition, roundness, suavity, gourmandise, a small freshness / minerality, a fine straightness as well as a fine juicy / acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry and blackberry associated with small notes of acidulous cassis candy, fleshy strawberry / juicy as well as fine hints of liquorice and caramelization. Tannins are well-built. There are very discreet hints of toasted almond, caramelization, tobacco, juicy fruits as well as an imperceptible hint of fig and dark chocolate on the finish / persistence.
