The nose reveals fine notes of cassis, oak and cassis bud associated with small notes of blackberry, liquorice and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, well-balanced, structured and offers fleshiness, a fleshy/fresh fruit, an acid frame, fat as well as a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, crushed blackberry and black cherry associated with touches of toasted oak, crushed raspberry as well as discreet hints of vanilla, mild tobacco and liquorice. Tannins are slightly dry. Good length. Very fine gourmandise on the finish.
