The nose is aromatic, racy, elegant and offers a fine fleshiness / density as well as a fine gourmandize. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed strawberry and small notes of red currants associated with touches of blackberry as well as subtle hints of violet, liquorice and a discreet hint of spice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers freshness, a racy minerality, tension, a racy minerality, a fine unctuosity, fleshiness as well as finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of wild raspberry associated with hints of cherry, small berries, racy minerality as well as a subtle hint of tea, zan, spices and a very discreet hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
