The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, fleshy red fruits and more slightly blackberry, racy minerality associated with a subtle hint of graphite, spices as well as a very discreet hint of violet (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight, silky and offers a good definition, suavity, freshness, tension, straightness, a very fine austere side, juiciness as well as a small concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly blueberry associated with small touches of wild strawberry, racy minerality, graphite as well as a subtle hint of liquorice, sweet spuces and a very discreet hint of almond. Tannins are fine and slightly tight. Good length. The finish is slightly tight. There is a very discreet hint of cocoa on the finish/persistence.
