The nose is slightly tight and slightly close. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and Sichuan pepper associated with touches of spices, toasted oak as well as fine hints of vegetal (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine mineral frame, fat, tension, freshness, harmony, a juicy/crunchy fruit as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis, red berries associated with small/fine touches of bell pepper (in the background) as well as discreet touches of zan, oak/toasted. Tannins are slightly firm. There is an imperceptible hint of dark chocolate and almond on the aftertaste.
