Château La Garricq 2017 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose is gourmand and offers a very fine richness/unctuosity. It reveals notes of vanilla, crushed blackberry and crushed strawberry associated with small notes of raspberry, ripe black fruits as well as subtle touches of sugared mild tobacco and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, elegant and offers a small minerality, a small juiciness as well as a small freshness and a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly cherry associated with small touches of berries, toasted, sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of sugared mild tobacco. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
