Château La Cabanne 2017 – Pomerol

The nose reveals notes of vanilla, blackberry and toasted associated with fine touches of strawberry (in the background) as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers/pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers tension, straightness, a fine fat, fullness, a fresh frame as well as racy/terroir minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry,ripe wild red berries and fine touches of black cherry associated with hints of cornflower/lily, spices/vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate and an imperceptible hint of coconut. Tannins are well-built and slightly firm. Good length. Appetence/suavity on the finish.
