The nose reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed wild strawberry and more slightly wild berries, flowers/cornflower associated with touches of spices, caramelization, nut, sugared tobacco as well as a discreet hint of vegetal. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine mineral frame, juiciness, fat/fullness, a good freshness as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, black cherry and more slightly raspberry associated with touches of liquorice stick, cassis as well as subtle hints of flowers, spices and a discreet hint of vegetal (in the background). Tannins are slightly dry. There is a hint of caramelization in the finish as well as a touche of cocoa on the persistence.
