The nose is elegant and offers a fine gourmandize, a fine richness as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy wild raspberry and ripe/fleshy red berries associated with fine/discreet touches of small blue fruits, cornflower, liquorice as well as a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper (on the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a fine juiciness, a good definition, minerality, a good precision, gourmandize, a very fine juiciness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy blackberry and more slightly cassis associated with fine touches of ripe/fleshy small red berries, a fine/discreet touches of flowers/rose as well subtle touches of caramelization, toasted, a very discreet hint of almond, racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of tonka bean. Tannins are fine and very slightly powdered. Good length. There is a hint of toasted almond on the persistence.
