The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, red berries and fine notes of blackberry associated with a hint of wild raspberry, a toasted hint and fine hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, clean / straight and offers fleshiness, juiciness, a fine minerality, a beautiful fat, roundness, finesse, a very fine creaminess and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy blackcurrant, ripe / fleshy red berries and small touches of ripe wild red berries associated with subtle hints of lily / cornflower, zan as well as a very discreet hint of sweet blond tobacco / sweet spices and a very discreet hint of blackcurrant bud in the background / on the finish. Tannins are well built.
