Château du Cros 2017 – Loupiac

The nose is aromatic, well-balanced, racy and offers gourmandize and richness. It reveals notes of honey, candied lemon and more slightly pear in syrup associated with a hint of pineapple in syrup as well as subtle hints of roasted and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, well-built, precise, racy and offers fat, a fine unctuosity, tension, a good freshness, a fine juiciness (in the background), a fine shining side (in the background) as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, candied pear and candied pineapple associated with a subtle hint of candied peach, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of roasted, honey, flowers, an imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background) and discreet hints of spices.  Good persistence on touches of candied lemon and pineapple in syrup.
