It reveals notes of ripe / fresh boysenberry, cassis and ripe raspberry combined with fine touches of red berries as well as discreet touches of toasted oak / caramelized oak, violet as well as a subtle touch of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, straight, precise, clean, racy and offers juiciness, a fine mineral frame, a small fat, roundness as well as a crunchy / juicy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / crunchy blackberries, ripe / crunchy Gariguette strawberry and subtle touches of raspberry, gravels, juicy plum associated with small / discreet hints of toasted oak, caramelization, cocoa as well as very discreet hints of Lapsang Souchong tea (in the background). Tannins are fine, straight and very slightly firm. Good length.
