The nose is fresh, quite aromatic and offers a small concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, fresh boysenberry and small notes of strawberry associated with touches of caramelization, vanilla as well as subtle touches of minerality and tea. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, mineral and offers fullness, fat, tension as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy boysenberry and more sightly black cherry, fresh/juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of toasted oak, vanilla, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of almond in the background. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry. There is a hint of liquorice stick on the finish. The finish is slightly tight.
