The nose is concentrated, slightly tight and offers gourmandize as well as a certain generosity from the fruit. It reveals notes of liquorice sticks, black cherry and black berries, associated with fine touches of wild red berries, black olive as well as very discreet hints of garrigue and an imperceptible iodine hint. The palate is straight, well-balanced and offers tension, a bit aerial, juiciness as well as concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, black berries and more slightly liquorice associated with touches of black olive, cassis, garrigue as well as imperceptible hint of thyme and chocolate (in the background). Tannins are slightly dry. Good length.
