The nose is fruity, racy, spicy and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, flowers (violet, rose) and blackberry combined with touches of Sichuan pepper, spices, cassis as well as discreet toasted hints, discreet grilled hints and an imperceptible hint of cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, well-defined, (very) slightly tight and offers a small tension, a small aerial side, a fine grain, a good structure, a small minerality, a very fine juiciness, a small acidulous frame as well as power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild strawberry, wild raspberry, cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of flowers, tea as well as slight toasted hints, pepper and a very discreet grilled hint / roasting. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. There is a very discreet hint of cocoa on the finish.
