The nose is fruity and offers a small power, delicacy as well as a slight intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of violet, Sichuan pepper associated with slight hints of spices, slight toasted hints and caramelized. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, racy, very discreetly tight and offers a small tension, a slight acid frame, a slight freshness, a good structure, roundness, a very slight unctuosity as well as a slight concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of liquorice, violet associated with small / fine touches of raspberry, graphite, Sichuan pepper, rose, chocolate, liquorice stick as well as a very discreet hint of spices, nutmeg and tea. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. There is a very discreet hint of coffee on the persistence.
