The nose is aromatic, concentrated and offers power. It reveals notes of crushed cassis and crushed boysenberries associated with small notes of crushed strawberry, minty liquorice, crushed blueberry, violet as well as small hints of spices, cardamom and very discreet hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate is well-balanced, mineral and offers a slight acidulous frame, suavity as well as a small juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with slight touches of flowers, red fruits, tonka bean, menthol licorice and an imperceptible oaky hint (in the background). Tannins are very slightly firm.
