The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, suavity, precision, a fine tension, a beautiful minerality, a beautiful grain, power, roundness as well as a small fat. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and small notes of liquorice, small fresh / juicy red fruits associated with discreet touches of tonka bean, spices as well as a very slight hint of caramelization (on the finish) and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background).
