The nose is aromatic and offers a slight richness and gourmandise. It reveals notes of blackberries, crushed wild cassis and small notes of vanilla, toasted notes associated with small touches of crushed strawberries, fleshy red berries hints as well as slight spices, toasted notes, cocoa / coffee and a very discreet hint of cardamom. The mouth is mineral, very slightly tightened, well-balanced and offers a slight juiciness as well as an acidulous finish. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / crunchy cassis and juicy / crunchy raspberries associated with small touches of crunchy / juicy red currants, crunchy / juicy blackberries, touches of chocolate / tonka bean as well as discreet hints of Zan and dried almond / blackberry in the background. Tannins are well-built and structuring.
