Château Suduiraut 2008 – Sauternes, Premier Cru Classé 

The nose is elegant, fruity and offers freshness. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of candied lemon, candied mandarin and small notes of dried zests combined with touches of vine peach, apple as well as discreet hints of quince, honey, spices and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight acid frame, a small juiciness, a slight freshness, precision as well as elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, marmalade and mandarin associated with small notes of candied vine peach, pineapple in syrup, kumquat as well as slight touches of honey, lychee and spices. Good length.
