Château La Renaissance 2016 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, racy, a bit gourmand and offers minerality. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, strawberry and small notes of gray pepper associated with small touches of ripe fruit, small toasted touches, vanilla and an imperceptible touch of almond (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a small mineral frame, a good structure, concentration as well as a small juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of small blue fruits associated with touches of raspberry, flowers, small touches of spices as well as a discreet hint of chocolate and gray pepper. The tannins are well led. Good length and beautiful persistence.
