It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of small wild fruits, small blue fruits associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, toasted touches, cocoa as well as very discreet hints of flowers and a very discreet hint of mentholed liquorice. The palate is fruity, fine, suave, silky, well-balanced and offers fat, a good definition / structure, an acid frame, precision, power as well as a slight tension and a racy grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, blueberry and small notes of juicy / fresh cassis associated with touches of fresh red fruits as well as slight hints of flowers / cornflower, discreet toasted hints, liquorice and cocoa. Tannins are fine, well-built, a bit young and discreetly mellow. Good length. Good persistence. There is a discreet hint of caramelization on the persistence / aftertaste.
