The nose offers intensity as well as a slight power. It reveals notes of blackberry, small black fruits and small notes of leather, wild berries associated with a touch of white pepper. The palate is fruity, beautifully juicy and offers a bit tight grain, an acidulous frame, a good structure, a slight tension, a racy minerality as well as gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry / sour cherry, blackberry and small notes of fleshy / juicy raspberry associated with hints of plum, mocha, leather, tobacco as well as slight hints of sweet spices and a very discreet hint of grove / thyme. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. There are a hint of caramelization and cocoa on the persistence.
