The nose is elegant, gourmand, very slightly tight and offers a fine fleshiness. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberries, fleshy raspberry and small touches of wild berries, ripe cassis combined with discreet hints of black olive, licorice, tobacco, spices / nutmeg as well as imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper and dried leaf. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight, quite frank and offers dynamism, a beautiful suavity, a mineral frame (racy minerality) as well as a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, ripe elderberry and small notes of ripe small red fruits associated with fine touches of flowers, licorice, a discreet hint of scrubland as well as very discreet hints of caramelization and sweet blond tobacco. Tannins are a bit firm and structuring.
