The nose offers concentration as well as a small power. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, sour cherry and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with small touches of blue berries, violet and liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, a slight suavity, depthness, a very slight unctuosity as well as fleshy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, sour cherry and small notes of blackberry, small fleshy wild berries associated with slight touches of licorice / Zan, slight toasted touches, chocolate, tobacco as well as a very discreet almond hint (on the finish). Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length.
