The nose is fruity, elegant and offers richness, a fine power as well as concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, iris / blueberry, crushed plum and small touches of strawberry associated with slight hints of sap, liquorice as well as a touch of Cuben pepper, tea and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful delicacy, finesse as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cassis, plum and small touches of ripe black berries, flowers associated with slight hints of caramelization, chocolate, pâtisseries as well as discreet hints of flowers, toasted / rancio, tea, tobacco, imperceptible tobacco and colas (in the background). Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and good persistence. Gourmandise and a very fine chew on the finish. Beautiful persistence with hints of cocoa, tobacco and pâtisseries.
