Bulas – 2013 LBV Porto

The nose is powerful. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of crushed blue berry, Kirsh cherry associated with slight touches of gray pepper, licorice and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful gourmandise, unctuosity, a slight acidulous frame, power, straightness, precision as well as a very slightly tight and gourmande matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, cocoa, crushed blackberry and small notes of crushed blueberry, Kirsh cherry associated with small touches of caramelization as well as discreet hints of cedar wood and toasted almond. Good length.
