The nose is fruity and offers a small power, a slight intensity as well as a slight straightness. It reveals notes of cassis, sour cherry and small notes of crushed blackberry associated with discreet hints of crushed red berry as well as a very discreet hint of spices, liquorice and an imperceptible touch of Cuben pepper. The mouth is fruity, gourmand, slightly tight, elegant and offers gourmandise, a small acid frame, a slight freshness as well as a small fleshiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, cassis jam and small notes of jammy redcurrant / red berries associated with small touches of licorice, caramelization, chocolate as well as an imperceptible hint of cedar and Cuben pepper. Tannins are a bit firm. The finish is slightly powerful.
