The nose is fruity and offers a small minerality. It reveals notes of sour cherry, blackberry and small notes of plum / violet combined with touches of licorice stick as well as discreet hints of coffee and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, dynamism, a slight tension, a beautiful definition as well as a slight mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed blackberry and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with small touches of Quetsche plum, redcurrant jam as well as hints of liquorice, tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper. Tannins are well-built. An imperceptible touch of almond on the finish / persistence.
