The nose is aromatic, powerful and relatively fruity. It reveals notes of cassis, strawberry and blackberry associated with small touches of sour cherry, flowers as well as slight touches of licorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers gourmandise, a slight acid frame, a slight tension, a slight straightness, a slight finesse as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, blueberry and small notes of strawberry, sour cherry associated with small touches of redcurrant jam, liquorice, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). Tannins are a bit firm and well-built. Good length.
