The nose is fruity and offers power and a slight freshness. It reveals notes of redcurrant, wild berries and small notes of gray pepper associated with touches of blackberry, bigarreau cherry as well as very discreet toasted hints, almond and an imperceptible hint of tonka bean. The palate is fruity, soft, silky, elegant, delicate, beautifully suave and offers a small tension, a slight acidulous frame, precision, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a small gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, wild red berries and crushed blackberry associated with small touches of redcurrant, crunchy blueberry, discreet hints of flowers (cornflower, iris), spices as well as discreet hints of tonka beans, a very discreet hint of caramelization and gray pepper. Tannins are fine, elegant, slightly powdered and offer a slight chew. Good length.
