The nose is aromatic, elegant and a bit tight. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of violet combined with touches of raspberry, chocolate, caramelization as well as discreet hints of tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers a slight juiciness, a slight freshness as well as a slight acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed cassis and small notes of fleshy Boysenberry combined with small touches of fleshy wild strawberry, slight hints of juicy redcurrants, chocolate, caramelization as well as discreet hints of violet and Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of coffee / espresso on the persistence.
