The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly powerful and offers a slight juiciness, a small suavity, a small racy minerality, a good structure as well as a slight freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of blueberry associated with slight touches of licorice / Zan as well as discreet hints of tobacco, discreet toasted hints / caramelization and a very discreet hint of coffee. Tannins are well-built and slightly firm. Good length. There are slight touches of spices and coffee on the persistence.
