The nose is aromatic, fruity, slightly tight, powerful and offers elegance as well as richness. It reveals notes of elderberry, cassis and small notes of black cherry associated with touches of flowers (iris, violet), liquorice as well as nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight, elegant and offers a good definition, a slight suavity, a very slight juiciness as well as a beautifully fine and very slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, black cherry and small notes of crushed cassis associated with small touches of plum, elderberries as well as slight hints of dark chocolate, flowers, grove / olive , liquorice, hazelnut / almond and discreet hints of nutmeg. Tannins are fine, a bit firm and very slightly tight. Good length. There are very discreet hints of tobacco and chocolate on the finish / persistence.
