Alexandro Bulgheroni 2015 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, powerful and concentrated (but full of finesse and balance). It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, cassis and wild berries / elderberries combined with small notes of wild redcurrants, touches of Cuben pepper, grilled touches, grove as well as discreet hints of caramelization and vanilla. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced (full of balance), finesse, silkiness and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful unctuosity, richness, roundness, a small juiciness, a slight straightness as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, ripe strawberry and small notes of crushed cassis combined with small touches of elderberry, pepper, grove / dry local forest as well as small hints of dark chocolate, caramelization and a very discreet touch of Bourbon vanilla. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length. Beautiful, aromatic and gourmand persistence.
