The nose is spicy and offers power as well as a slight intensity. It reveals notes of crushed boysenberry and cassis combined with touches of red berries, redcurrants, gray pepper, hints of spices as well as a discreet hint of olive and flowers. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a slight suavity as well as a small roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy red berries, juicy / ripe cassis and small touches of cherry associated with slight hints of black cherry, liquorice as well as slight / discreet hints of Zan, oak and spices and a very discreet hint of almond. Tannins are a bit chewy. Good length.
