The nose is fruity, elegant, slightly powerful and offers a small concentration. The nose is full of finesse! It reveals notes of cassis, ripe black plum and small notes of crushed redcurrants, black cherry / sour cherry associated with small / fine touches of liquorice, discreet hints of Cuben pepper, blond tobacco, cardamom, spices, discreet toasted hints as well as a very discreet hint of cedar, leather and an imperceptible hint of almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, complex, elegant and offers a good definition, a slight acidulous / juicy frame, a small tension, a beautiful finesse, a slight freshness as well as delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, black cherry and small notes of black plum associated with small touches of wild strawberry, ripe / crushed wild redcurrants, chocolate, coffee as well as a discreet hint of graphite, very discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of dry local forest soil. Tannins are fine, elegant, structuring and a bit chewy. Good length. There are an imperceptible hint of black olive (in the background) and a very discreet hint of cedar on the finish. There are a touch of cocoa and hints of espresso on the persistence. The wine needs to be put in carafe.
