The nose is fruity and offers power as well as elegance. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and slight hints of black berries associated with small touches of gray pepper and licorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a small juiciness, a slight suavity, a slight acidulous frame, gourmandise, elegance, tension as well as a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blueberry, blackberry and small notes of crushed cassis associated with slight touches of raspberry, juicy redcurrants, liquorice as well as discreet hints of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of dry forest soil. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and beautiful persistence.
