The nose is fruity, aromatic and elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, cassis and small notes of blackberry associated with discreet hints of iris, spices as well as a very discreet hint of graphite. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a slight acid frame, a good definition, finesse, a beautiful structure, juiciness, gourmandise as well as complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with slight hints of of blueberry, chocolate as well as discreet hints of caramelization, cardamom, spices, a very discreet hint of almond as well as an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There are discreet hints of undergrowth / mushroom as well as a fine chew on the finish.
