On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of red berries associated with fine touches of juicy/crushed raspberry, liquorice as well as discreet hints of juicy / ripe black berries, caramelization, discreet toasted hints and a discreet hint of almond on the finish. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. Good length. The finish is slightly firm.
