The nose is fruity and offers intensity as well as an incisive side. It reveals notes of cassis, cherry and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of jammy red berries, caramelization, almond as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper, violet and a very discreet hint of thyme. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers a good definition, a slight acid frame, a small juiciness, a small tension, dynamism, gourmandise as well as a small unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, black cherry and small notes of crushed cassis, raspberry associated with fine hints of ripe / crushed red berries as well as discreet hints of violet, Sichuan pepper and caramelization. Tannins are a bit firm. Power on the finish. Good length and good persistence.
