Rijckaert –Vignes des Voises 2016, Vieilles Vignes – Côtes du Jura

The nose is fresh, fruity and very slightly tight. It reveals notes of quince, physalis and small notes of crunchy peach associated with fine touches of citrus (kumquat, lemon), racy minerality as well as very discreet hints of flowers and an imperceptible hint of fresh almond. The palate is fruity, beautifully precise, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, straightness, finesse, minerality as well as a beautiful freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon fleshy peach and small notes of apple associated with small touches of fleshy ripe plum as well as slight hints of quenette and an imperceptible hint of honey (in the background). Good length.
