Domaine Jean-Pierre Sève – Sélection Vieilles Vignes 2016 – Pouilly-Fuissé

The nose is fruity, crunchy and racy. It reveals notes of crunchy apple, quince and touches of juicy mirabelle plum combined with fine hints of peach and discreet hints of butter. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a good definition, suavity, a beautiful roundness, fat, a mineral frame, a very fine acidity (in the background), a small density, a beautiful juiciness as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, crunchy apple and small notes of mirabelle plum associated with subtle hints of crushed peach, butter as well as a discreet hint of ripe mandarin and vanilla. Good length.
