J. Moreau & Fils – Valmur 2016 – Chablis Grand Cru 

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of quince, crushed mirabelle plum and small notes of butter associated with small touches of crushed white fruit and a very discreet hint of honey. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers a good definition, roundness, tension, a fine acid frame, a racy minerality, freshness as well as a (very) slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, crushed mirabelle plum and small notes of crunchy brugnon associated with fine touches of citrus and honey. Good length. There is an imperceptible touch of ripe almond on the persistence.
