Laroche – Les Chanoines 2017 – Chablis 

The nose is fruity and offers elegance as well as fleshiness. It reveals notes of crushed pear, quince and small notes of juicy blackberry combined with a touch of crushed vine peach, a discreet hint of beeswax as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers and almonds. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, precise, mineral, chiseled and offers a good definition, a beautiful acid / acidulous frame as well as a chiseled juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy ripe lemon, juicy quince and small notes of vine peach combined with touches of juicy / ripe Granny Smith apple, a discreet hint of pear, beeswax as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers and almonds. Good length.
