The famous Italian Wine & Food fair dedicated to the motto « the excellence is an attitude » launches its 27th edition !

This year, the famous italian fair well-known for its great quality of exhibitors, will take place from the 9th of novembre to the 13th of novembre 2018 in Merano. It’ll be the occasion to celebrate its 27th edition around prestigious producers and gastronomy lovers.
This year again, Helmuth Köcher, the boss of the Merano WineFestival, has selected not only the « best Italian products » but also european’s. Indeed, the visitors will have the possibility to meet great Italian, French, Spanish, Austrian and many more producers and gastronomy artisans.
Planned this year…
This year, will take place some conferences with experts of respective sectors. Many interesting subjects such as the « Futur of the wine », climat change, market evolutions, news consumer’s needs, innovative Wine & Food pairing etc. These different meetings, will take place on the 10 of novembre at the Puccini theatre and will be animated by Helmuth Köcher, himself.
Gourmet Arena : wine but not only…

During this 2018 edition of the Merano WineFestival, more than 120 companies mostly from Italia will be present at the « Gourmet Arena ». Nearly every regions of the Italia will be represented in order to offer the best of the italian gastronomy for the tasting ! This “Gourmet Arena” will take place on the Sissi promenade, along the Passirio river.
The official selection includes products such as cold cuts, dairy products, fish, bread, oils, vinegars, sauces, jams, canned goods, mustards, coffees, truffle mushrooms and inescapable Italian pastas. Some spirits and beers producers will also be present.
