The nose is aromatic and elegant. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of cassis, wild strawberry and small fruits / wild berries associated with touches of terroir/gravels, Sichuan pepper, a very discreet hint of flowers, spices as well as an imperceptible touch of nutmeg and vanilla. The palate is fruity, silky, well-balanced, suave, straight, precise, well-built and offers a small juiciness, harmony, a fine freshness, a fine acid frame as well as finesse / straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, raspberry and small notes of cherry associated with slight hints of strawberry, berries, zan, flowers, discreet hints of sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of chocolate and ripe almond. Tannins are fine and structuring. (2019+)
