Wolfberger – Gewurztraminer 2016 – Alsace Grand Cru, Kirchberg de Barr

The nose is fruity, racy and offers elegance as well as gourmandise. It reveals notes of sweet pink grapefruit and sweet lemon combined with small notes of pineapple, apple as well as slight hints of honeysuckle, mango and passion fruit. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, racy, a bit gourmande and offers fat, a good tension, precision, straightness, elegance, a mineral frame, roundness, volume, a small complexity as well as a small aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of sweet pink grapefruit, ripe / crushed vine peach and small notes of sweet lemon associated with small touches of pineapple, pear as well as a very discreet touch of honeysuckle and passion fruits.
