The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant, a bit powerful and offers a fine intensity, concentration as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of blueberry and ripe Bigarreau cherry associated with small notes of violet, fleshy strawberry and touches of fleshy blackberry, licorice, discreet hints of violet as well as subtle hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a fine juiciness, a fine unctuosity, gourmandise, a beautiful density, power as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blueberry, crunchy red berries and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with fine touches of cocoa, racy minerality as well as slight hints of garrigue (in the background). Tannins are fine, well-built and (very) slightly firm. Good length.
