The nose is aromatic, mineral, powerful, racy and offers elegance. It reveals notes of cherry, wild red berries and small notes of cassis, wild strawberry, laurel / flowers as well as touches of Sichuan pepper, racy minerality, a discreet hint of violets, olive, licorice and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, very discreetly tight and offers an acidulous / juicy frame, suavity, roundness, a beautiful fat, a (very) slight straightness, a beautiful juiciness as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy red cherry, ripe / juicy red berries and small notes of Bigarreau cherry, cassis associated with hints of blackberry, laurel, olive tree as well as discreet hints of liquorice, spices and an imperceptible touch of rose.
